Ordering Process

How do I place an order?

I'd love to hear about your project! Just head over to my contact page and tell me what you have in mind: the type of sign, approximate size, when you need it, and any design ideas you're dreaming about. I'll get back to you within a day or two with a quote and we'll go from there!

What information do you need for a quote?

The more you can share, the better! I'll want to know what type of piece you're looking for (banner, chalkboard, wedding sign, etc.), the size you're thinking, what text or design elements you'd like, and your deadline. Got Pinterest inspiration or photos? Even better, send those along too!

Do you require a deposit?

I do! A 50% deposit holds your spot on my calendar and lets me get started. The rest is due when your piece is finished, before shipping or pickup. I take PayPal, Venmo, or good old-fashioned checks.

Can you accommodate rush orders?

Life happens, and I totally get it! If you're in a pinch, reach out and let's see what I can do. Depending on what's already on my workbench, I can sometimes squeeze in rush orders with a little extra rush fee. No promises, but I'll always try!

Timeline & Delivery

What is the typical turnaround time?

It depends on the project! Smaller pieces usually take 1-2 weeks, while bigger projects (like a full wedding package) need 3-4 weeks. Planning a wedding? I'd love to hear from you at least 4-6 weeks out so we have plenty of time to get every detail just right.

Do you offer shipping?

I sure do! I pack everything super carefully so it arrives safe and sound, and ship via USPS or UPS. Shipping costs depend on size, weight, and where it's headed. If you're in North Idaho, local pickup is always free!

Do you ship internationally?

Right now I stick to shipping within the US, but for smaller pieces I might be able to make international work. Just ask and we'll figure it out together!

Where can I pick up my order locally?

I'm right here in North Idaho! When your piece is ready, we'll find a time and spot that works for both of us. You might also catch me at a local market or event, and that can work too!

Custom Work

What does the design process look like?

Once your deposit is in, I get to work on a digital proof so you can see what I'm thinking. You'll get to review it and we can tweak things together (two rounds of revisions are included). I won't start the final piece until you're completely happy with the design!

Can I provide my own materials (wood, chalkboard, etc.)?

Yes, I love that! If you have a special piece of reclaimed wood, a vintage chalkboard, or something meaningful you'd like me to work on, bring it over. I can letter on most surfaces, but just know the final look depends a bit on the material's condition.

How many revisions are included?

Two rounds are included with every project, and that's usually plenty to get things just right. If you need more tweaks after that, there's a small fee. Once you approve the proof and I pick up my brushes, changes aren't really possible, so we make sure you love it first!

Can I share inspiration photos?

Yes, please! I love seeing what you're drawn to. Pinterest boards, photos from events you've been to, color swatches. Anything helps me understand your style. I'll use your inspiration to create something uniquely yours, never a copy.

Is there anything you don't create?

I'm pretty open to creative projects, but my specialty is hand-lettering and painted pieces, not digital design or printed stuff. Not sure if your idea fits? Just reach out! And if I'm not the right person for the job, I'm happy to point you toward someone who is.
