By using this site or our services, you agree to these terms. Lettered by Lyndsay provides custom hand-lettering and signage (Wedding Signs, Chalkboard Art, Banners, Custom Lettering). All pieces are handmade; variations from examples are normal.
Ordering, Payment & Timeline
To order: Submit inquiry via contact form. Orders confirmed when you approve quote, pay 50% deposit, and agree to terms. We provide proofs for approval—changes after approval may incur fees.
Pricing: Projects priced individually. Quotes valid 30 days. All prices USD. Balance due before pickup/shipping. Late payments result in held orders; storage fees may apply.
Timeline: Typically 2-4 weeks. Rush available for additional fee. For events, order 4-6 weeks ahead. Free local pickup in North Idaho. Shipping available; not responsible for transit damage.
Cancellations & Refunds
You cancel: Before work starts (full refund minus materials), after work begins (deposit non-refundable), after completion (no refunds).
We cancel: Full refund if we cannot complete your order. We may decline projects.
Issues: Our errors corrected free. Report concerns within 48 hours of delivery.
Intellectual Property & Care
Designs: Remain our property. You receive display rights, not reproduction rights. We may photograph pieces for portfolio/marketing (opt out in writing). You're responsible for ensuring provided content doesn't infringe others' rights.
Care: Indoor pieces—avoid sunlight/humidity, dust with soft cloth. Chalkboards—use recommended chalk only, no abrasives. Outdoor pieces—bring inside during severe weather.
Liability & General Terms
Not liable for: Dissatisfaction with approved choices, damage from improper handling after delivery, natural wear on outdoor pieces, event-related consequential damages, delays beyond our control. Maximum liability: amount paid.
Website use: Don't copy content, use unlawfully, interfere with functionality, or submit false information.
Updates: We may update these terms. Continued use constitutes acceptance. Check "Last Updated" above.
Governing law: Idaho law applies. Disputes resolved in Idaho courts.
